		Shorts Everyday Magic - Tutorial I am sitting through a one on one tutorial, gazing into empty space, forcing myself not to pay any attention to my tutor. I am daydreaming, that's what I do. The film expresses my inner emotions releasing what I truely feel like within. It shows how my personality is split. Deep down I am stressed and worried about my future, but I don't like to show this as my tutor patronises me. I don't like to look at him, yet I can still hear his voice. My heartbeat pounds through my ears. I am edgy but my hands remain steady. He is right...I just don't want to admit it. I have to sit through it all, showing no fear or irritation. It all gets too much. I just want to walk away from my problems and let them solve themselves. Metamorphosis If you've got a problem, why dont you talk about it? The story revolves around the average 50's 'modern woman' losing her mind... Our woman is tired. She is stuck in a routine, repeating herself until it all becomes too much. To illustrate this we decided to fully take advantage of the medium, splicing clips into each other so as to throw the viewer into our woman's mind and world. With fast edits and a modern, almost mechanical soundtrack, we wanted to show her slowly slipping into her own subconcious, revealing her deepest desires. She wants to let go, to embrace her own sexuality in a manner way ahead of her time. By putting her against a contemporary score and presenting her in a modern light, we are giving her a new kind of freedom. She becomes what she wants to be.
